An Introduction……

Welcome to the very first Hellmouth Pins blog post! This has been inspired in part by the Ultimate Blog Challenge that I have signed up for during the month of April. While I intend to publish one Hellmouth Pins blog post per week normally, during the challenge I will be posting ONCE PER DAY! I’m telling you that now so that you can hold me accountable.

So, what is Hellmouth Pins? Well, it’s a little fan-art store, inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As many of you know, March 10, 2022, marked the 25th Anniversary of the first airing of Welcome to the Hellmouth, known as Buffy Slay Day within the Fandom. Hellmouth Pins sells fan art depictions of objects, characters and quotes that appeared throughout the show in the form of enamel pins and laptop stickers. Our first design launched on November 9, 2018, with our Vampyr book and the Bronze sign coming out since then. As you might have guessed, we are going in episode order. We got our current design ideas from the end credits as well as Welcome to the Hellmouth and the Harvest. So what do you suppose is coming next?

While we’re on the subject of what is coming next, we have big news for you. We are finally LAUNCHING OUR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION this month!!! You heard right. Starting in April, we will be shipping 2 new enamel pins with 2 free matching laptop stickers each month. We have our first year’s worth of pins sitting in our office ready to go. Subscribers in Canada and the USA will receive FREE SHIPPING! That’s great news for our US Scoobies who have always made up the majority of our customer base. If you need more reasons to stay tuned, you will save money on the pins themselves and loyal subscribers will receive additional free gifts when they least expect it.

It’s not all about pins and stickers though, I’m here because I genuinely love being part of this Scooby Gang tribe! Can you believe that almost 19 years since the last episode aired, the Buffy FB page has 1.6 million followers and 91k on Instagram? Not to mention the hugely popular Passion of the Nerd on YouTube, the incredible Buffering the Vampire Slayer podcast and the Hellmouth Convention, held annually at LAX.

I’d love to help bring Buffy blogging into 2022 though. So what else would you like to read about? Tell me in the comments.
